SUMMIT Church seeks to be a community where the hope, grace, and love of God is extended and received. We understand that everyone, at different times throughout their lives, need to experience the hope, grace and love of God. We believe God is acting through us, his people, as we love others and extend grace when life gets hard. We pray Christ's hope transforms and his grace overflows.

NEW TO SUMMIT?
SUMMIT Church was established in January 1997, with 6 people in attendance for their first service. Those who first gathered dreamed of building a church with a simple goal: reaching those far from Christ. With the help of people committed to seeing that dream fulfilled, the church has experienced significant growth.
what we believe
God
We believe that there is one living, true, holy God, eternally existent in the Holy Trinity of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is love.
the Christian Life
We believe the essential accompaniment of a genuine saving relationship with Jesus Christ is a life of holiness and obedience, attained by believers as they yield to the Holy Spirit. The work of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer is both instantaneous and progressive, guiding in understanding and empowering for service.
Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus was miraculously conceived, born of a virgin, and lived a sinless life. Christ was fully man and fully God, walked our earth, lived a life of obedience, suffered at the hands of men, and died on the cross. He fully atoned for the sins of all, was bodily resurrected, and enthroned at God’s right hand as our Intercessor.
Salvation
The central purpose of God’s revelation in Scripture is to call people to fellowship with Himself. Salvation is wholly a work of God’s free grace, received by repentance and faith.
the Bible
We believe Scripture is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice. The Scripture in its entirety is composed of the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, which originated with God, and was given through the instrumentality of many different chosen authors.
the Church
We believe the purpose of the Church is to worship God in spirit and in truth, and to reach a lost and fallen world with the gospel of Jesus Christ through its worship, witness, and loving deeds.
Sunday Gatherings
We gather each Sunday at 10am. Most people come in "mountain casual" attire. You'll see Boots, Flip-Flops, Flannels and T-Shirts. Our Sunday gathering will last about an hour with twenty-five minutes of music. The kids will experience a fun, interactive and relevant teaching and those gathered in the main worship space will receive an engaging and thought provoking message, rooted in Scripture.

Tim and his family accepted the call to lead SUMMIT Church and moved to Estes Park in July 2022. He grew up in southern California and met his wife Bree while attending college at Point Loma Nazarene University. Read More
