In our third Sunday of our PRAXIS series, we’ll look at celebration. Often people wonder why we do certain things at church. In the Gospels we find the Lord’s Supper. Another word for it is eucharist, an interesting one we don’t use very often, but it simply means “give thanks.” During the Passover Meal, Jesus initiated this unique time of communion with him which is really a time for us to celebrate all He has done for us - His body broken + blood poured out - for our sins. So, together, let’s celebrate!
