As you can see from the above, we have many opportunities for you to stay connected with the Summit Church family throughout the next few weeks. Pastor Michael has encouraged us each Tuesday night with a Facebook devotional.  If you would like to join us this week on Tuesday evening at 6:30 pm, you can find that message by following the link: or simply joining Summit's Facebook page at that time.

Dear Summit Family:

Are you thankful for the staff we have at Summit Church. We have truly been blessed by the talents, dedication and devotion of all our staff members. Each year we collect money to bless the Summit Staff with Christmas gifts. If you would like to contribute to our staff Christmas gifts, you may give online at or by mailing a check to Summit Church, PO Box 1231, Estes Park, CO 80517. Please designate your gift as "staff gifts". Please have your gifts in by Sunday, December 20th so we have time to bless the staff prior to Christmas.

Thank you for being a part of our church family,

Your Summit Church Board

Operation Christmas Child

Summit Church will be participating in Operation Christmas Child again this fall. In this outreach program church members and the church body as a whole pack and send shoe boxes to children all over the country, many of whom live in poverty and don't yet know Jesus. It is our prayer that these shoe boxes plant seeds for conversations about becoming a believer.  Why now? Shoe boxes are often filled with arts and crafts and school supplies, and this is the time to get them on sale! You can either go ahead and purchase some now for your own box or get some to donate for the church packing party, where we will use them to pack several boxes from the church body.

From our Care Team

On June 30th, Nathan Ford had an emergency surgery to remove an aneurysm behind his left eye. Nathan remained in the ICU for a few days and is now home with his family. His doctors ordered 6 weeks rest post surgery which is keeping him off his job for the present time. Nathan is recovering well and we are thankful for those that have continued to pray for him, Liz and the children.

The Ford family covets your prayers but they could also use some support in the way of meals. Their family is grateful for any meal and are happy to have meals ready to serve or items that can be placed in the freezer for another time. They do prefer a gluten free diet, so please keep that in mind if you are ordering or preparing food. If you prefer not to cook but still want to help with meals, you can purchase gift cards at a restaurant with gluten free options. (Poppies, Claire's, Notchtop, Ed's Cantina, and you may be aware of others.)

The Care Team has set up a meal schedule that you can easily access by clicking on the following link: When that webpage appears, you will see two boxes in the middle of the web page to enter the family's last name - FORD and the Password - 5307. This will take you to an internet page where you can easily select a date and share the type of meal you will be providing. It helps to track this information so the family doesn't get duplicate meals too close together.

Thank you for being the church to this family and for loving them during this time.
