Each year the Summit Church gives - both in time and money* - to 30+ projects and people. This is made possible through the giving and work of the congregation of the church. The Board of the church has committed 5% of the giving each month to these projects and people. The distribution of these funds comes through the Mission Team. They meet monthly to make sure that each project has been researched and prayed for before a decision is made to include them in your giving or work project, then a monthly Missions Moment is given so that the church congregation is informed.
*We are thankful for the church giving - Over $16,000 was given this year along with many hours of service. (The congregation completed a survey in 2010/11 that showed that over $60,000 additional dollars was given to mission projects and people all over the world above the offerings listed here. There is no way to actually know your giving to missions
but it is exciting to be a part of a church that has a heart for missions.)
