Meet Our Staff

Our staff love God and love people.

  • Michael Dascoli

    Lead Pastor & Servant of Christ / Phone: (970) 577-1158 x2
Prior to moving to Estes, Michael Dascoli’s entire ministry career was in youth ministry.  This began in the summer of 1978 when, while studying forestry at Northern Arizona University, he took a summer job as camp counselor with the Oracle, Arizona YMCA.  It was in working with teenagers in Greeley, Colorado that God eventually led Michael to start Summit Church in Estes Park. Michael finds it very interesting that while he left his childhood dream of forestry in order to follow a call of God on His life to full-time ministry, he ended up starting a church in Estes Park surrounded by majestic mountains and beautiful forests.

  • aaron bojan

    associate pastor / Phone:  (970) 577-1158 x

Prior to arriving in Estes Park, Aaron has been in full time ministry since graduating from Indiana Wesleyan University 1997 with a degree in Christian Ministries, sixteen years as a youth pastor and the last two years as a church planter. God has given Aaron and his family the opportunity to minister in NC, IN, MD, MI, and now in CO. After 16 years in Student Ministries, God moved in Aaron’s heart to plant a church. After two and a half years working to plant Elevate Church in Sterling Heights, MI, God led Aaron to Summit Church to follow his passion to reach the lost, disciple believers, and equip believers to fulfill the mission of Jesus.

  • Pam Peterson

    Administrative Assistant /
Eight years ago Pam, Don, her husband of 38 years, and son Karl moved to Estes Park upon retiring from the role of group home directors in Morrison, CO.  Three other grown children live elsewhere: Blake in Arvada along with his wife and son;  Lorri, her husband and two daughters are in Genessee, CO, and Mark and his wife currently live in Drexel Hill, PA, after serving in the military for fourteen years.
After spending some time at a prayer retreat center, Pam felt God's call to attend Denver Seminary in the Spiritual Direction program and graduated shortly before moving to Estes Park and is still in awe of how God orchestrated their move here.

  • Anita Shotts

    Family Ministries Director
Anita and her family moved to Estes Park in August of 2014.  She earned a degree in Early Childhood Education and began her career as a teacher.  However, God had other plans.  After teaching in public schools, God provided the opportunity for her to use her talents and gifts for the Lord in ministry as a Children’s Director in a church in Illinois.  Anita feels a call in her life to minister not only to children and youth, but also to their families.
